Open Weekend

You are all invited to come and visit AiR Green at the idyllic Søndre Green farm near Noresund in Krødsherad municipality. AiR Green is a residency program run by Norske tekstilkunstnere (Norwegian Textile Artists) in collaboration with Søndre Green farm and textile artist Kristin Lindberg.**

The doors open on Saturday, June 8, with artist talks and exhibitions.

Artists you can meet and see works by are:

- María Alejandra Torres Agudelo, Bogotà, Colombia

- Margit Seland, Trondheim, Norway

- Chanee Choi, Albuquerque, USA

- Amalie Risom Nyrup, Oslo, Norway/Denmark

- Deborah Jeromin, Germany

At the farm, you can wander around and get to know the artists in the main building. There is a presentation and discussion at 2:00 PM. There is an exhibition at **HØYTØRKA**. In the **Summer Barn**, there is an exhibition with woven works by Deborah Jeromin: “fathom: a unit length to measure the depth of water: the length of two outstretched arms: the measure of an embrace.”

Homemade food and drinks will be served. It is also possible to row out to the idyllic **Greensholmen** and see the pavilion designed by Astrid Rohde Wang, **Gartnerfuglen Architects**. The island and pavilion are also one of the workspaces available to artists in residence.

**Kristin Lindberg** (b. 1950) is the owner of Søndre Green and is a renowned textile artist with numerous exhibitions, acquisitions, and public space commissions. She is a former chair of Norske tekstilkunstnere. She was awarded the Rune Brynestad Memorial Grant in 2020.

- 11:30 - Søndre Green opens to visitors.

- 12:00 - Welcome speeches and introduction

- 12:30- Open studios

- 14:00 - Presentation of residency artists in conversation with Kristin Lindberg.

- 15:30 - Conclusion

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

- Café with homemade bread with eggs and jam from the farm.

- Tea and coffee.

- Payment via Vipps/cash.

- Parking in the parking lot or the field.

- Bus from Oslo, more info to come.
